Vidyut Jammwal’s recent actions have caused quite a stir. Following the release of his film Crakk – Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa, the actor publicly called out film critic, Sumit Kadel for alleged corruption. He accused the critic of accepting bribes to write favorable reviews about the film and claimed that failure to pay would result in negative critiques regardless of the film’s quality.
Taking to his X (formerly known as Twitter) handle the actor shared a screenshot. The screenshot showed that the Crakk actor had been banned by the film critic on X. Sharing the screengrab Vidyut wrote, “Asking for a bribe is a crime, and giving one is a crime too!!”My crime “is not giving??? #sumitkadel…so every time you praise someone -we know the criminal..”
Sumit Kadel Calls Vidyut Jammwal “Arrogant”
For the unversed, before Vidyut had accused Sumit Kadel of bribery the latter previously shared a tweet. In his tweet, Sumit called out an actor without naming him and wrote, “When popularity turns into arrogance, it’s a downfall. Despite nepotism tags, ‘khaandaani’ stars often exhibit humility. Today, encountered an so called outsider whose rudeness was appalling. Understandably, top industry figures avoid working with him.”
Many netizens speculated if the critic was talking about Akshay Kumar or any other actor. In a follow-up tweet, Sumit then wrote, “Folks i need to clarify this is not for any superstar or current generation stars.. this post is for someone else who is not a star but think himself as a Bruce Lee | Jacky chan.. I have met almost every lead actor in the industry and sab bade pyaare hai.. sirf yahi ek pagal hai hai jissey meir mulakaat hui.. Industry k log samaj jayenge, aap logo se request hai plz dont demean anyone under the comment section.”
