Elon Musk & Grimes Change The Name Of Their Son For The Third Time?

Grimes and Elon Musk have changed the name of their newborn son for the third time. The couple has now revealed the new name in accordance with the California rule. Read below for more details.

Singer Grimes and her tech mogul partner Elon Musk welcomed a baby boy last month. But the news that made more of the noise was the name of their newborn. Elon and Grimes’ son had the most controversial name of the year.  The couple initially named their little one X Æ A 12, this left the netizens confused about the meaning and the pronunciation of their son’s name.

Grimes and Elon have already change the name of their son twice before, they changed it from X Æ A 12 to  X Æ A-Xii to abide by the California rules. The rule allows 26 letters of the alphabet along with an apostrophe to be used to name an individual and does not accept numbers, emojis, accents or other symbols in the naming convention.

However, as per the child’s birth certificate, Grimes and Elon Musk have made another alteration and now their son is named X AE A-XII Musk in his birth certificate.

Revealing the meaning behind her son’s name, Grimes explained  X stands for the “unknown variable,” Æ (now AE) is her “elven spelling of AI,” and the A-12 (A-XII) is the forerunner to the couple’s favourite aircraft, SR-71 plane.

Thankfully, the pronunciation also remains the same, “it’s just X, like the letter X. Then A.I. Like how you said the letter A then I and the number 12.”

In a previous interaction with news daily, Grimes had revealed the nickname of her baby which is way lot easier than his original name. The couple calls their little munchkin ‘Little X’ for short.
