On Feb 2, actor Vishal Singh took to his Instagram handle and posted a mushy picture with Devoleena. The actress can be seen flaunting a huge ring on her finger with a bouquet of flowers. In the caption, Vishal wrote, “It’s official (ring emoji) love you Devoleena.”
To this, she replied, “Yayyy… Finally..I love you Vishuu…”
Vishal was also seen getting on his knees and proposing to Devoleena at her home.
Wishes started pouring in for the couple as soon as the pictures were posted on Instagram. Many celebs and fans of the couple congratulated the couple for their new beginning. However, turns out that they are not engaged after all.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Vishal Singh Engagement News Is Not True:
A few hours after putting up the pictures, Devoleena and Vishal came Live on Instagram in which they clarified that they are not engaged. Devoleena said, “We are engaged…but…”
“We are engaged for a song. The name of the song is, ‘It’s official’,” Vishal added.
Devoleena said, “It is the first time we are doing a music video together. The song is about love, engagement and marriage.”
Clarifying their previous post, they said, “We didn’t think that we would receive so much love. So thank you so much. If and when that happens in real, we will tell you.”
Vishal said, “Devoleena is very special to me.”
She hugged him and replied, “And he is special to me. It’s been 10-11 years.”
Devoleena said, “We didn’t intend to break your heart. It was a planned promotion by our producers. Also, we are actors and it is a part of our life.
Their fans, who were earlier congratulating the actors are now disappointed. A user wrote, “I thought they are really engaged. It’s a disappointment.”
Another fan commented, “You broke all #Devish fans. I was so happy now I am upset.”
Devoleena is best known for playing Gopi in Star Plus Show ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ while Vishal played the role of Jigar Modi in the same show.
