Dale Earnhardt Jr Surprised With A News Of Wife Amy Expecting Second Child

Dale Earnhardt Jr., the two-time Daytona 500 winner, is expected to become a father again.

Earnhardt and wife Amy are expecting their second baby, breaking the news on Instagram with a sweet message from their 1-year-old daughter, Isla Rose.

Amy has also shared a video about the moment she and Isla revealed the good news to Dale. When he saw Isla wearing a shirt that said “super amazing sister,” he was so surprised that he was a little confused:

“How do you know it’s a girl,” he asked?

“She’s a sister, either way,” Amy explained.

“Oh, she’s (Isla) the sister,” he responded.

Isla once had a chance to see her daddy drive, though she was just five months old when he got behind the wheel in 2018. “I was delighted to be there with Isla “I was thrilled to have Isla there,” Dale said, via the Associated Press. “She won’t remember what happened today, but if I never run another race, I got to have her at one event, and we got a picture at the car before the race that she’ll be able to have the rest of her life. It doesn’t matter to me if she ever thinks that’s a big deal, but I want her to have some understanding, I guess, of what I did before she was born.”

The proud daddy not only has a lot going on at home but will run in the virtual world this weekend in a NASCAR Cup race. The semi-retired driver will race in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational sim racing series with other participants in the Cup until after May 3rd the suspended real-world season resumes.
