Daisy Shah’s Big Interview In Support Of Zomato Delivery Man

Watch Bollywood actress Daisy Shah's interview as she comes out in full support of Zomato delivery man.

After Parineeti Chopra, Kamya Punjabi and Rohit Roy spoke in favour of Zomato Delivery man, actress Daisy Shah has also come in his support. In a recent interview, Daisy demanded a proper investigation in the case.

She said, “I myself order food from Zomato and Swiggy very often. I see the delivery men working very hard. I personally feel that it is a story been made up and I feel for the delivery guy. This must be his only source of income.”

On being asked to comment about the girl playing a victim card and a woman card, Daisy said, “It’s not necessary that the girl is always right. They can be wrong too. We often talk about feminism and gender equality. But gender equality means treating both the genders equally, irrespective of their status or any other parameters. We shouldn’t come to a conclusion immediately.”

For the unaware, recently, a Bengaluru woman named Hitesha Chandranee posted a video on Instagram accusing a Zomato delivery guy of assaulting her which left her nose bleeding. The Internet came together to support the woman and even Zomato took immediate action and suspended him, along with bearing the medical bills of the woman. Later, the delivery man came forward, denied all accusations and said that it was the woman who hit him with chappals and she accidentally hit herself with her ring. An FIR has now been registered against the woman and the investigation is going on.
