Celebrities Adopt A New Way Of Ganpati Visarjan Amid Pandemic

Bollywood celebrities like Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Shraddha Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan have found a new way of Ganpati Visarjan this year.

Every year, the entire world witnesses grand celebrations of 10 days Ganesh festival in Mumbai. Even several Bollywood celebrities welcome Ganpati at their lavish homes and bid goodbye with teary eyes. However, this year has been different. The coronavirus pandemic has forced everyone to stay at home and keep the celebrations low key. And since the celebs couldn’t go out for Ganpati Visarjan in the ocean, they found a new way.

They chose eco-friendly idols and immersed them in a bucket of water at their homes. Salman Khan, Shilpa Shetty, Shraddha Kapoor and Hrithik Roshan were seen adopting this new way to celebrate the festival. They have set an example for the followers of Lord Ganesha and have encouraged them to take the eco-friendly route along with following lockdown rules and avoiding city traffic that used to create chaos every year.

Hrithik Roshan, along with ex-wife Sussannee, his two songs, and parents bid goodbye to Bappa at his residence in Mumbai. He immersed the idol of Elephant God in a bucket of water and posed for some beautiful pictures.

On the other hand, Bollywood’s Dabangg actor Salman Khan visited his brother Sohail Khan’s house for Ganpati Visarjan. He was accompanied by rumored girlfriend Iulia Vantur. His friends from the industry like Daisy Shah and Jacqueline Fernandez also marked their presence in the celebrations.

Shilpa Shetty along with her husband Raj Kundra too adopted the same way of Visarjan. They also distributed Prasad to paparazzi.

Every year, people used to immerse the idol in the ocean which lead to much chaos in terms of traffic. This new way has not only encouraged people to buy eco-friendly idols but also gave them a way to avoid the chaos.
