The followers of self-proclaimed godmen Asaram Bapu are boycotting Rajat Sharma’s 26 years old chat show Aap Ki Adalat. His followers accused Rajat Sharma for being insensitive and anti-Hindu.
The incident took place after the 15th February’s episode which had Sri Sri Ravi Shankar as the guest, during the interview Rajat and Ravi Shankar briefly discussed the saint’s unlawful and illegal practices they used to conduct in his ashram in the name of religion.
During the segment, Ravi Shankar said that, “Such individuals are neither sant, nor gyaani, nor religious. If individuals in the garb of godmen commit crimes, they should be given twice the punishment that is given to commoners,”
Asaram’s followers stormed twitter and attacked Rajat Sharma for putting up such accusations on the saint.

Asaram is currently serving life sentence after a minor from Uttar Pradesh filed an FIR against him for the rape in 2013.
