Upcoming Action Films In 2024
- Yodha
Directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha is a much-awaited Bollywood film starring actor Sidharth Malhotra in the lead role alongside Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. Yodha is set to release in theatres on 15 March 2024.
2. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan is an upcoming action-thriller starring Akshay Kumar alongside Tiger Shroff, Manushi Chhillar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, and Alaya F. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan will be released in theatres on 10 April 2024.
3. Baby John
Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi have teamed up for a major action-packed film called “Baby John.” The makers released the first-look poster and a video introducing Varun Dhawan’s character on February 5. For those who may not know, “Baby John” is the official Hindi remake of director Atlee’s “Theri,” featuring Thalapathy Vijay, Samantha, and Amy Jackson. The film is directed by Kaleeswaran and presented by Atlee. Baby John will be released in cinemas on 31st May.
4. Singham Again
Rohit Shetty will be coming back with his iconic cop universe “Singham Again,” marking the fifth installment in the franchise and a sequel to “Singham Returns” (2014). The film will star Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone and others. Singham Again is also expected to hit the theatres on 15 August.
5. Deva
Directed by Rosshan Andrrews, Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is all set for his next film, Deva. The film action-thriller will also star Kubbra Sait, Pooja Hegde, Pravessh Rana. The film will hit the screens on October 11.
6. Vedaa
Nikkhil Advani and John Abraham collaborate once again after the success of the drama “Batla House” with the action-packed original “Vedaa,” set to hit theaters on July 12. Starring John Abraham and Sharvari in the lead roles, this film is described as a “high-energy action-drama” and signifies the reunion of Abraham and Advani, who previously worked together on films like “Salaam-e-Ishq” and “Batla House.
7. Kill
After Rocky Aur Ranii Kii Prem Kahani, Karan Johar will be back with his next film, Kill. Directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, the film, will be an edge-of-the-seat action thriller, featuring newcomer Lakshya along with Raghav Juyal and Tanya Maniktala in significant roles. Kill will hit the theatres on July 5, 2024.
8. Pushpa 2: The Rule
Last but not least, Allu Arjun’s highly-anticipated film Pushpa 2 will also make it to the theatres this year. After the success of Pushpa: The Rise the second installment of the film will feature Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles. Pushpa 2 will be released in theatres on 15 August 2024.
