Bank Withdraws Auction Notice For Sunny Deol’s Juhu Villa Within 24 Hours Due To Technical Error

Sunny Deol's Team Has Confirmed The Auction Notice And Stated That The Amount Mentioned In The Notice Is Incorrect

It was reported that the Juhu villa of Sunny Deol, the actor of Gadar 2, would be auctioned for Rs 52 crore. However, within 24 hours of the notice, the bank withdrew it, citing it as a technical error.

The auction notice was initially posted by the Bank of Baroda in a national newspaper on Sunday, August 20. They have now issued a new notice which reads, ‘Corrigendum to E Auction Sale Notice dated 19.08.2023 published in The Times of India Mumbai Edition (Pg.3) dated 20.08.2023 with regards to Sale Notice in respect of Mr. Ajay Singh Deol Alias Mr. Sunny Deol Stands Withdrawn due to Technical Reasons for the below-mentioned Property: All That piece and parcel of land bearing Survey No. 41 Hissa No 5 (Pt) CTS No. 173 of Village Juhu Taluka Andheri Mumbai Suburban Dist, Admeasuring 599.44 Sq Mtrs underneath a structure known as Sunny Villa situated at Gandhigram Road, Juhu, Mumbai 400049. Bearing New Municipal assessment No. 00121047 situated in the registration District and Sub-district of Mumbai Suburban.’

According to reports, Sunny Deol’s team has confirmed the auction notice and stated that the amount mentioned in the notice is incorrect, and the actor will be clearing the dues in a day or two.

On the work front, Sunny Deol’s recent release, Gadar 2 has been a massive hit at the box office, collecting Rs 377.20 crore so far. The movie is the sequel to ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,’ originally released in theaters in 2001. In the original, Sunny Deol portrayed Tara, a truck driver, while Ameesha Patel depicted Sakina, set amidst India’s partition in 1947. ‘Gadar 2’ continues the narrative of Tara Singh as he ventures across the border to rescue his son (played by Utkarsh Sharma), who is captured in Pakistan. The movie is directed by Anil Sharma.

During the film’s success celebration, Sunny revealed, ‘I was quite anxious before the movie’s release. When the film finally premiered, I experienced a mix of tears and laughter throughout the night. My father was present, and he noticed. I told him, ‘I haven’t had a drink. I’m just happily overwhelmed.’
