Amitabh Bachchan, the Shenshaah of Bollywood has turned 78 this year. Born on 11 October 1942, Amitabh stepped into Bollywood in 1969 with the film Saat Hindustani. Even after several films, he was seen as a ‘failed newcomer’ who gave twelve flops and only two hits by the age of 30.
Failure didn’t stop him. Flops films and rejections by filmmakers only made him stronger and he kept going. Soon, he rose to fame with his ‘angry young man’ persona. And the rest is history.
On this special day, let’s take a look at his old photoshoot from the 90s and celebrate his contribution to the cinema!
