Asha Parekh will be soon honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. She began her career as a child artist in 1952 and in 1954, she debuted as a lead actress in “Dil Deke Dekho”. She was one of the most successful actresses in the 1960s and 70s. Asha was last seen on the big screen in the 1999 film “‘Sar Aankhon Par”.
