Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were cast together for the first time as father and son in the film ‘Ranveer’. The film was in the pipeline for many years until Abhistabh Bachchan’s company AB Corps was revived after Big B paid up the company’s staggering Rs 70-crore debt.
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film also starred Sanjay Dutt alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. The film was launched on Big B’s 61st birthday. His close friend Amar Singh gave the clap for the Muhurat shot. Legendary actor Dilip Kumar too had marked his presence.
This flashback video covers the Muhurat of the film. However, despite so much work into it, the film never made it to the theatres.
