Pardes is a musical drama film directed and produced by Subhash Ghai. It stars Shahrukh Khan, Mahima Chaudhry, Alok Nath, and Amrish Puri in lead roles.
The film was a commercial success and became the fourth highest-grossing Bollywood film of 1997 after Dil To Pagal Hai, Border and Ishq.
The music of the film was given by composer duo Nadeem-Shravan. Its songs ‘I Love My India’, ‘Meri Mehbooba’, ‘Do Dil Mil Rahe Hain’, and ‘Yeh Dil Deewana’ have topped the chartbusters.
