Thalapathy Vijay’s latest release Bigil was touted to be the entertainer of the year ever since it was announced. The film which released on October 25 on the eve of Diwali, has entered the 100 crores club in just 3 days.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote about it on his Twitter. “#Bigil has taken more than Rs100 Crs+ Opening at the WW Box Office..Congrats #Thalapathy @actorvijay, #Nayanthara, @Atlee_dir, @archanakalpathi, @Ags_production and Team.. (sic)”
Bigil is dominating the box office by grossing Rs 5.26 crore at the end of three days of its theatrical run. The film has collected Rs 1.79 crore and Rs 1.73 crore on Friday and Saturday respectively and is continuing its stronghold at the box office.

The Telugu version of Bigil is also doing well at Box Office in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. According to trade estimates, the movie has garnered ₹10.8 Crore gross box office collection in 3 days in this Telugu region.
The movie has also witnessed a great success in the USA, Australia, and the UK. The film is expected to continue with the performance for some time. Despite Diwali festivities, the movie’s shows were packed in Mumbai, sold-out shows at most locations of leading multiplex chains, shatters the myth that film business is dull during pre-Diwali days.
