Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood diva Ananya Panday are currently busy promoting their upcoming movie Liger. The two actors are seen continuously travelling and attending interviews and events to spread the word about Liger. On Sunday, they visited a mall in Navi Mumbai where they were taken aback to see the number of people who showed up. The mall was fully packed with barely any space to move. As Vijay Deverakonda appeared on the stage, the crowd went crazy.
Many female fans were seen crying and fainting. Even Ananya expressed her concern and talked to the organisers about the situation. The chaos almost turned into a stampede as fans pushed through the barricades to get closer to the centre stage, where Vijay and Ananya were standing. As the organisers and security team feared that the situation could get worse, the event was stopped midway to avoid any unfortunate incidents. Vijay and Ananya were escorted to their cars.
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday will be seen in an upcoming Telugu and Hindi movie titled Liger. It is directed by Puri Jagannadh and will hit the theatres on August 25.
