VIRAL! Devara Pre-Release Event CANCELLED Due To Overcrowding, Jr NTR Expresses Sadness

Devara pre-release event was canceled due to a huge crowd; Jr NTR expresses his sadness to fans. Watch the video below!

The much-awaited Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR was all set to have a grand pre-release event. However, the Devara pre-release event had to be cancelled because too many fans showed up. Fans from across the country gathered in large numbers to see Jr NTR live. The crowd became too big for the organizers to manage, so they had to cancel the event for everyone’s safety. Videos of the huge crowd have gone viral, showing fans standing on poles, sitting on streets, and waiting for the event to start. Sadly, the event was called off to avoid any risks.

After the event was canceled, Jr NTR expressed his sadness on social media. In a video message, he said, “I am really sad that the Devara pre-release event was canceled. I was excited to share details about the movie with you and spend time together. But due to safety reasons, it couldn’t happen. I understand how disappointed you feel, but trust me, my pain is even more. It’s not right to blame the organizers or producers; the situation was out of their control.”

The movie’s producers also shared their disappointment over canceling the event. They explained that despite all their efforts, they couldn’t manage the large crowd. The event was planned close to Ganesh Nimarjanam, which already required a lot of preparation. Recent heavy rains also made things difficult. Even though it didn’t rain on the event day, the weather wasn’t suitable for an outdoor event. The team apologized to the fans, knowing that many had traveled from far away to see Jr NTR. They made it clear that everyone’s safety was the main concern.

On a positive note, Jr NTR is now heading to Los Angeles for the screening of Devara at Beyond Fest, happening from September 25 to October 9. This makes Devara the only Indian film getting a global premiere at the festival.

Though the Devara pre-release event was cancelled, fans can still look forward to the movie’s release on September 27, 2024. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is expected to be a huge success.
