Vijay Deverakonda Reacts To Liger Boycott: “I Have No Fear”

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda reacts to the Liger boycott trend. He says, "I’ll see who can stop Liger".

The release of Liger is around the corner. Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday have been heavily promoting their sports drama film. The producers arranged promotional programmes across several states. However, a boycott trend started five days before the film’s release. People quoted different reasons behind the boycott. Some are unhappy that the film is backed by Karan Johar while others call Vijay Deverakonda ‘an arrogant man’.

While we have seen movies miserably failing at the box office, Vijay Deverakonda seems unaffected by the boycott trend. Recently, during a promotional event, he said, “I don’t know exactly what is their issue and what they want. We are correct on our side. We have worked hard for three years to make this cinema. Shouldn’t we release our movies?”

He added, “When we are correct and when we do our dharma, there is no need to listen to anybody and let there be anything coming, we must fight. I have no fear and I know that in complete honesty, we have done it with our hearts. We all are from this country and we know how much we do for our people and country. We are not from that batch who sits in front of computers and tweets.”

Vijay then said, “We have everyone’s blessings. Liger is going to be huge. I’ll see who can stop Liger. I have my mother’s blessings and the support of the audience.”

Liger is a sports action film starring Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda. It also has a cameo of American boxer Mike Tyson. It is directed by Puri Jagannadh and it has been shot in Hindi and Telugu languages.
