Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala are now officially married! The first wedding photos of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala were shared by Chaitanya’s father Akkineni Nagarjuna on social media. The ceremony took place at the iconic Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, founded by Chaitanya’s grandfather, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao. This significant venue added a deeper emotional layer to their special day.
Nagarjuna welcomed Sobhita into the Akkineni family with heartfelt words, Tollywood King penned down in a long note, “Watching Sobhita and Chay begin this beautiful chapter together has been a special and emotional moment for me. 🌸💫 Congratulations to my beloved Chay, and welcome to the family dear Sobhita—you’ve already brought so much happiness into our lives. 💐
This celebration holds even deeper meaning as it unfolds under the blessings of ANR garu’s statue, installed to mark his centenary year. In the wedding photos, Sobhita looked so dreamy in a traditional Kanjeevaram saree with intricate gold zari work, accessorized with vintage-inspired jewelry symbolizing Telugu traditions. Naga Chaitanya chose a classic pancha (dhoti), a tribute to his grandfather’s timeless style.

And in one of the photos, behind the couple there’s a statue of iconic Akkineni Nageswara Rao, honouring the pioneer of Akkineni family and as well as pioneer of Telugu cinema, which talks about the family’s respect for legacy and tradition as they performed the sacred jeelakara bellam ritual.
