‘Jai Bhim’ actor Suriya has long been in the news for his Telugu film debut, meanwhile, the actor has now finally given a nod to the script, and soon, an official announcement will be made about his film. The actor will be collaborating with director Siva for his film which will also star Pooja Hegde in the lead along with Suriya.
Suriya To Collaborate With Pooja Hegde In His Telugu Debut Film
As per the reports, ‘Jai Bhim’ actor Suriya will be collaborating with director Siva who is known for his films like Viswasam and Annaatthe meanwhile, their upcoming film will be shot in both Tamil and Telugu. The production house UV Creations has previously produced films like Prabhas’ Saaho, Radhe Shyam, and more. The budget of the film is expected to be high. The reports have also suggested that the actor has been locked for the project and the makers recently sent him the token amount too.
For the film, the makers have approached the “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” actress Pooja Hegde to play the female lead in the film, which is tentatively titled as Suriya 39. The film was delayed due to several changes in the crew and producers. Pooja has also given her nod for the film. The actress’ fans are now waiting for an official confirmation on the project. This will be the first time Pooja and Suriya will be seen together on screen. Pooja Hegde is known in the South industry for her versatility. Meanwhile, an official confirmation of the project is still awaited and is expected to be made on July 23rd which also marks Suriya’s birthday.
On the work front, Pooja Hegde recently appeared in South films like Acharya and Radhe Shyam however both the films fell flat at the box office. Meanwhile, the actress is now gearing up for her upcoming film “Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali” which will star Salman Khan in the lead, she also has SSMB 28 with South actor Mahesh Babu.
On the other hand, Suriya was hailed for his performance in his film ‘Jai Bhim’ soon after which he also appeared in a cameo role in R Madhavan’s “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” and Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Vikram’ which shattered various box office records. The actor also has a cameo role in the Hindi remake of the film Soorarai Pottru which will star Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan in the lead.
