SS Rajamouli is popular for mega projects Bahubali, Bahubali 2, and RRR. After the massive success of RRR at the box office, the filmmaker has shared details of his next project. SS Rajamouli is reported to work with South superstar Mahesh Babu in his next film.
The next project of Rajamouli for which he will collaborate with Mahesh Babu will be an action adventure. The filmmaker also compared the untitled project to Academy Award-winning films James Bond and Indiana Jones. He is currently in Canada attending the 47th Toronto International Film Festival. At the film festival, he spilled some beans on his next project with the Spyder actor.
Speaking about the upcoming project at the Toronto International Film Festival, the filmmaker said, “My next film with Mahesh Babu will be a globetrotting action adventure. It’s going to be a kind of James Bond or Indiana Jones film with Indian roots!”
Just weeks after the release of RRR, the director ensured that he has commenced working on a new project. Until now reports suggested that the film will feature ‘superstar’ Mahesh Babu and will be an action-adventure. However, now SS Rajmouli has himself confirmed the news at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film was given a working title SSMB29.
Mahesh Babu also opened up about working with ace director SS Rajamouli, “It’s a dream come true for me to work with him. Doing one film with Rajamouli Garu is like taking up 25 films at once. It’s going to be physically demanding and I’m really excited about it. It’s going to be a pan-India film. I hope we break many barriers and take our work to audiences across the country.”
On the work front, will next be seen SSMB28. He is currently working on the epic action entertainer with Trivikram Srinivas.
