During a recent interview with Galatta India while promoting her latest film Love Sitara, Sobhita was asked about her thoughts on marriage and love. The film, which explores various forms of love and self-discovery, brought up personal reflections for the actress. She revealed that she had always dreamed of having a marriage which is deeply rooted to her culture. Sobhita Dhulipala says, “I always wanted Teluguness to be part of moments like this because I’m very attached to my roots, very close to my parents.”
She further explained her connection to her cultural heritage. “This whole aspect of tradition, I think I fantasized about it sweetly—not like I was planning it but it was always there somewhere,” she said. When the interviewer pointed out that she manifested it, she smiled and nodded in agreement.
It’s clear that her love for her Telugu roots plays a significant role in her happiness with Naga Chaitanya. Sobhita Dhulipala says she feels grateful to have found someone who shares the same cultural background. When asked about the binding factor in her relationship with Naga, she candidly shared, “For me, it’s humour. Moments of lightness. I think it’s what binds it all together.”
The actress also addressed societal pressures around marriage. Contrary to the belief that people are often pushed into it, she said she never felt that pressure. In fact, she always knew she wanted to experience marriage and motherhood. “I always saw myself getting married,” she confidently remarked.
Speaking about her engagement day, Sobhita reflected, “I didn’t go into it with a lot of expectations or dreams. I was just there. It was relaxed, simple, sweet, intimate, and warm—everything I thought it would be.”
