Actress Seerat Kapoor surprised everyone when she shared a selfie with Telugu star Allu Arjun on her social media profile. She wrote in the caption, “Dancers don’t need wings to fly! Their energies lead. Those who know. Know.”
This selfie of Allu Arjun and Seerat Kapoor sparked rumors of a collaboration. People almost believed that Seerat must be doing an item song in Allu Arjun starrer “Pushpa 2”. As the rumors spread like wildfire, Seerat came forward and clarified that she won’t be doing an item song in Pushpa 2.
She took to her Instagram story today and wrote, “Of late, there have been reports suggesting my involvement in Pushpa 2, particularly in an item song. I would like to clarify that these rumours are baseless and unfounded. While it is true that I recently bumped into my dear friend Allu Arjun, it was simply a pleasant encounter and we took a photo together. I have not been cast in the film and I am not performing an item song in it. I appreciate the enthusiasm and support but I kindly request everyone to refrain from spreading false information. Your continued encouragement means a lot to me and I will make sure to keep you all updated on my current projects through official announcements. Thank you all for your unwavering love.”
In “Pushpa: The Rise”, Telugu actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu made a special appearance. She did an item song for the first time in her career. Samantha looked smoking hot as she grooved to “Oo Antava”. When Seerat posted a picture with Allu Arjun and talked about dance, people assumed that she has filled in Samantha’s shoes to do an item song in the upcoming sequel.
Seerat has worked in Telugu films such as “Run Raja Run”, “Raju Gari Gadhi 2” and “Touch Chesi Chudu”. She has also paired with Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish in “Okka Kshanam”.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil starrer “Pushpa 2” is expected to release by the end of this year.
