Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Verdict: Nani’s Film “Hit Or Flop”?

BoxOffice: Directed by Vivek Athrey, the Telugu action thriller Saripodhaa Sanivaaram was released in the theatres on August 29. Upon its release, the Telugu film received favorable reviews and registered a solid opening at the box office. Now that the film has concluded its first week in theaters, it’s time to determine whether the film is a box office success or failure.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Box Office Collection Day 7

As per Sacnilk, Nani starrer Telugu action film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram registered a solid box office opening worth ₹ 9 Cr. Witnessing little to no growth the film kept a steady pace through the weekend earning ₹ 9.15 Cr on Saturday and ₹ 9.5 Cr on Sunday.

However, after an underwhelming weekend, the Telugu film witnessed a major drop during the weekdays, earning ₹ 3.5 Cr on Monday, ₹ 2.4 Cr on Tuesday, and approx. ₹ 1.48 Cr on Wednesday. As per reports, the film now stands at a domestic box office total of ₹ 40.88 Cr.

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram Hit Or Flop?

Made on an estimated box office budget of Rs 90 Crore, Nani starrer Telugu film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram started on a high note but faced a significant drop during the weekdays. The film’s weekend collections were not remarkably high either. After completing its first week the film currently stands at 40 Crores and seeing a continuous decline at the box office.

The film remains significantly short of recouping its production costs, with its box office numbers consistently declining. With that being said Saripodhaa Sanivaaram can be considered a box office “flop” or “failure”.
