Rashmika often makes headlines for her alleged relationship with Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda. Though, neither of them ever confirmed dating each other, but people get their hints every now and then. But did you know that Rashmika was previously engaged to Kannada actor and filmmaker Rakshit Shetty?
For the unaware, Rashmika and Rakshit’s love story began when they collaborated on her debut film, “Kirik Party,” in 2016. The two took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged in July 2017. However, just over a year later, they decided to part ways, citing compatibility issues. Since then, Rashmika has often been linked with her co-star from “Geetha Govindam” (2018) and “Dear Comrade” (2019), Vijay Deverakonda.
Recently, it was discovered that Rashmika Mandanna and Rakshit Shetty are still in touch and text each other sometimes. In a recent interview with IndiaGlitz Telugu, Rakshit was asked about his relationship with actor and ex-fiancée Rashmika Mandanna. Rakshit revealed, “Me and Rashmika, we message each other once in a while. Not like in constant touch, but whenever my film is releasing, she messages and wishes me the best. And, whenever her film releases, I wish her. On birthdays, we exchange wishes.”

Previously, during an interview, Rashmika had also mentioned that she shares cordial bond with all her exes and she even meets their current partners without any qualms.
On the work front, Rashmika was last seen in Hindi films “Goodbye” and “Mission Majnu”. Her next Bollywood project is “Animal”. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Anil Kapoor. Rashmika will also be seen in Telugu film “Pushpa 2” alongside Allu Arjun.
