Ram Charan is still enjoying the success of SS Rajamouli’s RRR. The magnum opus film became a blockbuster worldwide. The film received praise and love not only from India but also from Hollywood. The character of Ram Charan in RRR was enough to persuade Marvel Creator that he can be the next James Bond.
The period drama was created at a budget of 550 crores and it earned 1200 crores at the global box office. It was made available soon on the OTT platform Netflix and became the most popular movie streaming online. Jr. NTR and Ram Charan starred in the blockbuster hit but the latter received a lot of attention from Hollywood makers.
Recently Marvel’s Luke Cage creator thinks Ram Charan is the best choice for James Bond. After featuring in 2021 film ‘No Time To Die’ Daniel Craig stepped down and there have been speculations on who will take up the role. Cheo Hodari Coker – creator of Marvel’s Luke Cage, suggested that Ram Charan could be suitable for the role.
Ram Charan’s name was included in other big names that can be considered as next James Bond. Cheo shared multiple names that are appropriate for the next James Bond. Cheo took to his Twitter to name his choice for the void role. He wrote, “Bond? Idris Elba, Sope Dirisu, Matthew Goode, Damson Idris, and Ram Charan.”
This tweet garnered ample reactions in a short span. Many of them were from Ram Charan’s fans. Cheo made another tweet explaining his reasons behind choosing the names. He wrote, “Damn! That escalated quickly. Everyone knows Idris from, well, everything, but to get inside my thinking, watch Sope in Gangs Of London, Matthew G in The Offer, Damson in Snowfall and Ram in RRR. They all deserve a shot at a Savile Row suit and a Walther PPK.”
Ram Charan’s fans hailed him as ‘King of Tollywood’ replying to Cheo’s tweet. Some fans were quick to create a fan poster of Ram Charan as 007 James Bond. One user wrote: “Damn! Ram charan suits as 007 bond more than anyone.. Ur tweet will happen for sure as bond Ram Charan.” While another tweet read, “born with attitude like bond James bond” Another user wrote, “Ram Charan is perfect choice for James bond series.”
