Pushpa Actor Allu Arjun Talks About His Bollywood Debut

Telugu actor Allu Arjun spills beans about his plans of making his Bollywood debut.

Telugu actor Allu Arjun has gained nationwide fandom after the success of 2021 film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Since then, the actor stays in the headlines. Now all eyes are on Allu Arjun as people await to know about his Bollywood debut plans.

Allu Arjun has recently reacted to the possibility of doing a Bollywood film. He said to India Today, “Acting in Hindi is a little out of my comfort zone for now, but once there is a requirement, I’ll go all-out.”

On being asked if he has received any offers yet, Allu Arjun said, “I have got an offer but nothing concrete or exciting. Hopefully soon. It does take courage, you have to risk it.”

Talking about the roles he would like to play in Bollywood movies, the stylish star said, “When we are the protagonist of the films that we do, anybody who comes to us will only come with the offer to play a protagonist, I would not be interested in anything (else). And it is very well understood. Even the other person will not come and it doesn’t make sense to ask such a big star to play a second role as it damages the film, they also know it. You have to work as a protagonist, as the main lead.”

Allu Arjun is the son of Allu Aravind, an accomplished producer and distributor in Telugu cinema. Allu began his career as a child artist in the 1985 film ‘Vijetha’. In 2003, he made his adult debut with the film ‘Gangotri’. His 2021 film ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ was a pan-India success. It also featured Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Currently, he is working on Pushpa 2.

The 40-year-old actor is married to Sneha Reddy. They have two children—a son, Ayaan and a daughter, Arha.
