Prabhas’ Next Film, ‘Fauji’ To Feature Pakistani Actress Sajal Aly

Following the huge success of “Kalki 2898 AD,” Prabhas is preparing for his next project, one of which is titled “Fauji.” Reports suggest that this film will be a romantic period drama directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, known for his work on “Sita Raman.” Additionally, new reports have revealed that the film “Fauji,” starring Prabhas, will feature Pakistani actress Sajal Ali, who appeared alongside Sridevi in the Bollywood movie “Mom.”

Who Is Sajal Aly?

Sajal Aly is a popular name in the Pakistani film industry. Sajal made her Bollywood debut with the 2017 crime thriller Bollywood film, Mom which featured Sridevi in the lead role alongside actors like Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Akshaye Khanna, and others.

The film was a drama about a stepmother struggling with her 18-year-old daughter, who embarks on a mission to track down the men who raped her young daughter in a moving vehicle. Back at that time, Sajal Aly’s visa was denied multiple times due to the Uri attacks, causing significant delays in completing the shoot.

Initially, rumors suggested that Mrunal Thakur would play the female lead in “Fauji.” However, recent reports now indicate that Sajal Ali will take on the role. There hasn’t been any official confirmation yet.

Prabhas Upcoming Movies

Prabhas is currently basking in the success of his recent film, Kalki 2898 AD. As per the reports, he will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film, “Spirit”. Rumors suggest that the film will also feature Korean actor Ma Dong-seok as the villain.

On the other hand, “Fauji” is anticipated to be a grand period action drama centered around a unique love story. Rumor has it that Prabhas might play a British soldier, which fits with the film’s historical setting and the choice to cast a pan-Asian actress like Sajal Ali.
