Amid the ongoing issue of Allu Arjun’s arrest, regarding the Pushpa 2 screening stampede issue, actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan has finally raised his voice. Pawan Kalyan APPLAUDS Telangana Police
In a conversation with the press at Mangalagiri, the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh said that the law is and has to be equal for all. He described the Sandhya theatre’s accidental chaos as a tragic one, but also mentioned that no police should be blamed for the same. Pawan in his statement said that the management of the theatre should have informed Allu Arjun about the situation. Further he went on to criticize the actor stating that he should have gone to visit Revathy’s family immediately to seek an apology.
in his complete statement, Pawan Kalyan said, “Revathi’s death in this incident has deeply shocked me. They turned what was already lost into an even greater tragedy. We should have conveyed earlier that we are all here to support the family. There should have been a sense of regret for the mistake, even if it happened without their direct involvement. There is a clear lack of humanity in this matter. Everyone should have gone to Revathi’s house to offer reassurance and condolences. The people’s anger stems from the absence of such a gesture. Arjun, too, feels the pain of knowing that someone lost their life because of this incident“.
For the unversed, the deputy CM is related to Allu Arjun via his brother Chiranjeevi. Allu Arjun’s aunt Surekha is married to renowned actor Chiranjeevi. Earlier, when Pawan was asked to express his views on the matter, he denied to speak anything – however he now came forward to raise his opinion, but chose to back the Hyderabad police officials who stood firm in executing the arrest of the Telugu superstar, despite the fame he carries with him.
