Naga Chaitanya’s first look from Venkat Prabhu’s directorial NC22 is out now. Apart from Naga Chaitanya, the Telugu-Tamil bilingual film will also feature South actress Krithi Shetty in the lead role. Reacting to the first poster of the film a segment of netizens was seen pointing out the uncanny resemblance of the poster with actor Bob Odenkirk’s film Nobody and Keanu Reeves’s film John Wick. Naga Chaitanya’s First Look From Film NC22 Is Out
On Naga Chaitanya’s 36th birthday, the makers of the film NC22 unveiled the first poster of his upcoming film. Named “Custody” the first poster of the film featured South actor Naga Chaitanya in a fierce avatar with cops holding him from the back and guns pointed at his chest.
Sharing the poster, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, “NAGA CHAITANYA – VENKAT PRABHU: NC22 TITLED ‘CUSTODY’… On #NagaChaitanya’s birthday today, here’s the #FirstLook and title announcement of his #Telugu – #Tamil film [#NC22]: #Custody… Directed by #VenkatPrabhu… Produced by #SrinivasaaChitturi.”
Sharing reactions to the film’s first poster and Naga Chaitanya’s look a segment of netizens claimed that the actor’s look and the poster have been copied from famous Hollywood films like John Wick and Nobody. A user tweeted, “Sasta John wick” and another user tweeted, “Deshi John wick”.
Many other netizens claimed that the actor isn’t cut out to play action movies, a user tweeted, “Naga Chaitanya is a choclaty boy in South industry so he should do only romantic movie which suits on him..he shouldn’t try action film people don’t like him doing action… He is most Handsome…”.
All About Naga Chaitanya’s Film NC22
As per the reports, Naga Chaitanya will be seen essaying the role of a cop in the action-thriller film, while actor Aravind Swamy will be seen essaying the role of the antagonist in the movie. The film will also mark the first-ever collaboration of actor Naga Chaitanya and filmmaker Venkat Prabhu. Apart from Naga Chaitanya, popular South actress Krithi Shetty will be seen playing the female lead.
