The trailer of the upcoming action-thriller film opens up with actor Adivi Sesh talking to the media and stating that criminals are idiots as they leave behind the trail which makes it easier to catch them. Following this, the trailer then features a girl named Sanjana who gets butchered into pieces by a serial killer. The trailer of the film interestingly had an uncanny resemblance to the recent Shraddha Walkar murder case where the victim was also mutilated by her boyfriend Aftab Poonawalla. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, HIT: The Second Case is a suspense-action thriller film that stars Telugu superstar Adivi Sesh in the lead role. Apart from Adivi Sesh the film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, and Komalee Prasad in pivotal roles. The film is set to release in theatres on December 2, 2022.
HIT 2 is the second installment of the 2020 released film HIT which featured Vishwak Sen in the lead role. A Hindi version of the same film was also released this year which starred Bollywood actor R Rajkumar and Sanya Malhotra as the leads. Unlike the South version, the Hindi remake failed to perform well and was later released on Netflix.
