Bollywood actor Divyenndu Sharma, widely recognized for his much-loved role as Munna Bhaiya in Mirzapur is all set to make his Telugu film debut in director Buchi Babu Sana’s upcoming pan-Indian project, which is tentatively titled as RC16. Starring Global Star Ram Charan in the lead, the film has already created significant buzz, especially with the inclusion of AR Rahman as the music director and Janhvi Kapoor as a leading lady.

RC16 has an impressive lineup of stars, featuring Ram Charan, legendary Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor. The production team, which includes Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers, recently shared a poster of Divyenndu leaving fans surprised, introducing his intense look in the film. “Our favourite Munna Bhaiya will light up the big screens in a spectacular role tailor-made for him,” stated Vriddhi Cinemas in an Instagram post.
While details about Divyenndu’s character are under wraps, Buchi Babu Sana hinted at its significance calling it his “most favourite role” in the film. Known for his captivating performances in Hindi cinema, Divyenndu is expected to bring the same energy to this rural action drama.
The movie’s shoot began in Mysore with a short schedule, followed by another in Hyderabad. Sharing a glimpse from the set, the director sought blessings at Sri Chamundeshwari Temple before starting the project. The film marks Ram Charan’s first collaboration with Buchi Babu Sana and Janhvi Kapoor, adding to the anticipation.
