Waltair Veeraya OTT premiere: Chiranjeevi’s massy action drama Waltair Veerayya is set to have it’s digital premiere on Netflix. The film will have it’s OTT premiere on Netflix on February 27.
Netflix India South Twitter handle announced the news by sharing the poster of Chiranjeevi with a caption that read, “In front there is Mega Force festival! Waltair Veerayya is coming to Netflix on 27th Feb and we can’t keep calm.”
The Telugu original and the dubbed Hindi version will be arriving on the same day, with the same title. Written and directed by K.S. Ravindra, Waltair Veerayya is a masala action entertainer which also stars Catherine Tresa, Shruti Hassan and Ravi Teja.
Just like big clash in Tamil film industry (Kollywood) with Ajith’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu, Telugu film industry (Tollywood) also went through a huge clash between Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. And both films did impressive business in India. While the former has done a business of 161 crores nett in India so far the latter added 100 crores nett. And both films are still running in local cinema halls of both states.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Chiranjeevi is now gearing up for the release of another action entertainer ‘Bhola Shankar’ which is an official remake of Ajith’s Vedalam (2015).
