The Baahubali series is undoubtedly one of the most loved and successful film franchises in Indian cinema. Directed by SS Rajamouli and written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the films, starring Prabhas, were a massive hit with audiences and critics alike. Now, there are rumors that ‘Baahubali 3’ might be on the way and if this is true, fans will be buzzing with excitement. Tamil producer KE Gnanavel, who is currently promoting his film Kanguva, gave a big hint during a recent interview.
KE Gnanavel Talks About Baahubali 3
While promoting Suriya’s pan-Indian film Kanguva, Gnanavel Raja, who was involved in backing Tamil versions of the Baahubali films, revealed that he recently spoke with the team behind the franchise. He said that talks about ‘Baahubali 3’ have already started, and this news has taken social media by storm.
“I spoke to the Baahubali makers last week, and they are planning the third part. Even Kalki 2 will come out after two more films, and the same goes for Salaar 2,” Gnanavel shared. He explained that, just like the Singam series, sequels need time for audiences to reconnect with the characters.
In addition to ‘Baahubali 3’, Gnanavel also shared updates on other big projects. He confirmed that Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Deepika Padukone, will get its sequel after two more films. Similarly, Salaar 2 will also come after a gap.
While fans wait for more updates on ‘Baahubali 3’, SS Rajamouli and KV Vijayendra Prasad are currently working on SSMB 29 with Mahesh Babu. Though details about this project are still a secret, it is rumored to be an exciting globe-trotting adventure.
