The much-awaited film of 2022 ‘Major’ is going to hit the Telugu, Hindi, and Malayalam theatres on June 3. The whole team is overwhelmed by the phenomenal response that they have received in their pre-release multi-city premiere everywhere. After receiving a round of applause from the audiences in Pune and Ahmedabad, the screening at Jaipur was extremely emotional.
Audiences present at the Jaipur screening were in tears. Some started chanting Bharat Mata Ki Jai and Sandeep Unnikrishnan ‘amar rahe.’ The Audience also gave a standing ovation at the end.
Looking at the audience’s reaction Sobhita Dhulipala who will be playing a pivotal role in the film got emotional during the screening. She mentioned that more than 100 jawans attended the special screening of Major in Jaipur. While speaking about the film, actress Sobhita Dhulipala cannot stop her tears from rolling down. She said, “Our team is a huge fan of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. And we wanted his story to reach people. Amazing man, amazing life. This just means a lot. Thank you.”
For the unversed, te movie is based on the horrifying 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Actor Adivi Sesh will be seen playing the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who laid his life for the country.
The producers of the film have asked the distributors and exhibitors to keep the ticket prices low for both single screens and multiplexes across the Telugu states.
Taking to his Twitter account Adivi Sesh wrote about it. He tweeted, “It is our movie. So, we decided to give you the LOWEST PRICES for ANY film post-pandemic. Sharing my love, sharing my heart.”
