Actor Atul Parchure, known for his comic roles in Hindi and Marathi films, will be seen sharing screen space with Vijay Deverakonda in the upcoming mass entertainer Liger. Prior to the film’s release, Atul spoke about his role and praised Vijay.
He said, “I have played a small character in Liger. I have a scene with Vijay Deverakonda.”
Sharing his experience of working with Vijay, he added, “It was wonderful. He is such a great actor and a great co-actor. He is so humble and down-to-earth. He is a nice man. I really liked working with him.”
While the film is witnessing a boycott trend on Twitter, Atul is confident that the film will be a blockbuster. He said, “It will definitely be a blockbuster. Several recent releases have not worked at the box office, so this must work by the law of record also.”
Talking about the dull phase of the industry, Atul said, “I am too small to say if the industry is going wrong altogether. There are several leading personalities in the industry who must be already thinking of the ways ahead. I don’t think that the industry is going wrong as a whole. Sometimes there are a few films that the audience doesn’t like, but tomorrow there will be a few films that the audience would go and watch and then we’ll think that everything is fine. So that phase is always there. Sometimes you get success and sometimes you are not so successful. I am sure good films will be made and people will watch them.”
“It is just a temporary phase. I fully believe in the industry and I believe that cinema will always prevail,” he concluded.
Atul Parchure is known for playing comic roles in Hindi and Marathi films. We have previously seen him in films like Salaam-E-Ishq, Partner, All the Best: Fun Begins and Khatta Meetha. He is quite excited about the release of Liger which releases tomorrow. It stars Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood diva Ananya Panday. The film has been directed by Puri Jagannadh and backed by Karan Johar.
