Allu Arjun Hikes His Fee After Pushpa Success, Know How Much He Charged For Pushpa 2

After the massive success of the film Pushpa: The Rise, the lead actor the film Allu Arjun has reportedly hiked his fee for the sequel of the film, however, this time the actor has almost doubled his charges from the first installment of the film, though an official statement has still not been released about the same. Know how much the actor is charging now-

Allu Arjun Charges Whopping Amount For Pushpa 2

After the humongous success of the film at the box office, South actor Allu Arjun has now hiked his fee for the sequel which is now double what he got in the first installment of the film. As per the reports, Allu Arjun’s fee for Pushpa: The Rise was around Rs 45 crore. Apart from this the actor also has a stake in the profits too. Meanwhile, it’s not only the lead actor who has hiked his fee, but also the director Sukumar who has now raised his charges for the sequel.

Reportedly, Arjun’s fee for the Pushpa sequel is around Rs. 85 crores which is a new record in the Telugu film industry. The reports stated that Allu Arjun’s equation with the box office changed after Pushpa. Though Pushpa The Rise may not have been as much of a grand hit in Andhra and Telangana as expected, its pan-India success places him above Prabhas in the all-India market. Sukumar reportedly made the first part for Rs 18 crore but he will charge Rs 40 crore for the second part.

As for the leading lady, Rashmika Mandanna has also hiked her fees. For the first film, the actress received 2 Crores, however, for part 2 she has asked around 3 Crores. Meanwhile, the makers of Pushpa: The Rule are planning to allot a budget of Rs 350 crore for the prequel. After the success of Pushpa: The Rise, all eyes are on the sequel. However, an official confirmation on the budget is still awaited.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi who has been praised for his performance in Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Vikram’ is now rumored to have been taken in for Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa’ sequel. The actor will reportedly play a key role in ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. The sequel is expected to get bigger and better. According to the latest reports, Septhupathi has been roped in by the makers to play the antagonist opposite Allu Arjun-starrer in which Fahadh Faasil was also seen playing the antagonist and now again will be reprising the role of SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat.
