Richa Chadha’s recent “Galwan” tweet has sparked extreme outrage on the internet. From Bollywood celebrities to Twitterati a segment of netizens have now slammed the Fukrey actress for “disrespecting” the Indian army. Reacting to the same Major actor Adivi Sesh has now also shared his reaction to Richa’s tweet, and said that her tweet has “hurt” him.
Adivi Sesh Reacts To Richa Chadha’s Galwan Tweet
During an interaction with Republic Media, the actor said, “Working on Major gave me a perspective on the Armed Forces that I didn’t have before. I’d respected their valour and had seen videos but nothing prepared me for the emotional impact of knowing the true stories of our soldiers, stories I witnessed when I was researching Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s life. Any comment that is reductive toward our Armed Forces is both insensitive and irresponsible. I don’t know how she intended it, but it hurts to read. Jai Hind.”
Earlier many Bollywood celebs also slammed Richa for her tweet, The Kashmir Files actor Anupam Kher reacted to the whole controversy and tweeted, “Desh ki burai karke kuch logon ke beech lokpriya hone ki koshi karna kayar aur chote logon ka kaam hai. Aur sena ke samman ko daav par lagana… isse zyada sharmnaak aur kya ho sakta hai (trying to become popular among some people by talking badly about your country is the work of cowards and small people. And putting the honour of the army at stake… what can be more shameful than this).”

For the unversed, recently Richa Chdha reacted to Northern Army Commander Lt General Upendra Dwivedi’s statement that the Indian army is ready to execute orders like taking back POK. Following this many netizens and celebs urged the authorities to file an FIR against the actress for her tweet. Following the extreme backlash, Richa issued an apology note on Thursday stating that she didn’t mean to hurt the sentiments of her fans.
