Tamil film Action starring Vishal and Tamannaah Bhatia hit theatres today, November 15 2019, and after the trailer dropped, fans had high expectations from the film. Helmed by Sundar C, the film also featured, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Akanksha Puri and Chaya Singh. Going by the positive reviews flooded on social media, Action has lived up to the expectation the audience and critics alike.
One twitter user tweeted, “#Action movie 1st half – fantastic action sequences, racy screenplay, asusal hot heriones , unexpected from Sundar.C Superb action direction” while another user wrote, “#Vishal has given a beautiful movie Called #action,” another tweeted, “#action first half, picks up gradually and ends up with a engaging action scene!! Action which is made on a huge budget managed to create a lot of buzz before the release of the film, which eventually worked in its favour. The film has been shot internationally in countries such as Azerbaijan, Cappadocia, Krabi Islands and Istanbul. The story of the film revolves around Colonel Subhash from the Indian Army and played by Vishal.
Talking about the film and the green bodysuit Tamannaah Bhatia is seen flaunting in the film, she said, “To be honest, when I started I didn’t think I had the body to (wear it)… you need to have a certain body to able to wear. I actually went on a diet and lost weight to wear the costume. I felt like I could not have done it if I was in normal size.”
