Vikram Box Office Collection On 1st Weekend: Kamal Haasan’s Film Earns Whopping Amount

The Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faasil-starrer Vikram earn ₹150 crores worldwide, and emerges as a major blockbuster.

South Industry’s big film ‘Vikram’ has been released in theaters on June 3, through which actor Kamal Haasan has returned to the film screen after four years. While his much-anticipated film has now passed the century marking over 100cr business in India while successfully breaching over 150 crores worldwide.

The recent blockbuster release ‘Vikram’ has now successfully breached the 150cr club worldwide marking a huge weekend collection. Entertainment industry tracker Sreedhar Pillai took over Twitter and shared the figures, he wrote, “#Vikram has turned out to be a universal hit with terrific WOM. The@ikamalhaasan action extravaganza directed by@Dir_Lokesh has grossed over ₹150Cr from worldwide box-office in opening weekend, India alone accounting for ₹100 Cr+. Biggest post pandemic hit from Kollywood!”

The film is gathering momentum in full swing while the films released alongside Vikram like Prithviraj and Major seem to have lagged in the competition. While Vikram is set to become Kamal Haasan’s highest, and Kollywood’s highest-grossing film.

Helmed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the script of ‘Vikram’ is penned down by the director himself. The cinematography of ‘Vikram’is done by Girish Gangadharan and the editing by Philomon Raj. ‘Vikram’ has an ensemble cast that includes Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Chemban Vinod Jose, and Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles.
