Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi is gearing up for the release of his Hindi web series Farzi. It is a crime thriller series featuring Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Raashii Khanna, Amol Palekar and Kay Kay Menon. Vijay, along with Shahid and director duo Raj & DK launched the trailer of Farzi in Mumbai on 13 Jan.

During the trailer launch event, a reporter asked Vijay about his feelings on making his “OTT debut” with Farzi. To this, he replied, “I don’t see it as a debut. I think, in 2010 I did debut as a hero. So its been 12 years. I think I have done 55 films. So, it would mean like I am going back as a kid. I don’t think it is my debut.”

“For me, every scene is a film. We are putting same kind of effort for each and every shot to impress the audience. I was impressing my girlfriend when I was in school. Now every shot is like I am trying to impress a girl whom I love,” he added.

Farzi is an 8-episodic series directed by Raj & DK, who gained fame with The Family Man franchise. It will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video on Feb 10.
