Trisha Krishnan and Suriya are teaming up again after 20 years for the upcoming film Suriya 45, directed by RJ Balaji. This announcement comes as a double celebration for Trisha, who marks 22 years in the film industry. Interestingly, her debut movie, Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002), also featured Suriya.

The film’s team celebrated Trisha’s journey with a cake-cutting ceremony on set. Trisha expressed her excitement, calling it a “full circle moment” and shared her gratitude for reuniting with Suriya.

Suriya 45 is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures and helmed by RJ Balaji. Suriya is expected to portray a lawyer in the film. While AR Rahman was initially attached to the project, 20-year-old musician Sai Abhyankkar has now taken over as the composer. Known for his viral hit Katchi Sera, Sai is the son of singers Tippu and Harini. GK Vishnu, celebrated for his work with director Atlee, is handling the cinematography.

Trisha Krishnan and Suriya last shared the screen in the 2005 action-drama Aaru. They previously appeared together in Mounam Pesiyadhe and the ensemble cast of Mani Ratnam’s Aayutha Ezhuthu (2004).

Trisha’s recent cameo in Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time created buzz, and her upcoming films include Identity with Tovino Thomas and Vidaamuyarchi with Ajith. Meanwhile, Suriya is juggling multiple projects, including Karna and untitled films with Boyapati Srinu and Chandoo Mondeti.

The production of Suriya 45 is underway in Pollachi, and fans eagerly await the release date.
