After a remarkable Hollywood debut in Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man, Dhanush is back to ruling the domestic box office. His latest release Thiruchitrambalam is receiving a great response from the audience. The romantic comedy film opened to good reviews and continues to rake good numbers at the box office. Thiruchitrambalam had a great opening as it recorded Rs 10 crore. Talking about the domestic collection, it earned Rs 19 crore in Tamil Nadu alone in just two days. In three days, the film collected Rs 32.97 crore. The film earned another Rs 10 crore on the 4th day i.e its first Sunday. Thus, the total box office collection now stands at Rs 37.36 crore. However, the film is said to have crossed Rs 50 cr worldwide.
According to movie tracker Ramesh Bala, Thiruchitrambalam is performing well at the domestic as well as overseas Box office. He tweeted, “@dhanushkraja’s #Thiruchitrambalam has grossed more than ₹ 50 Crs+ at the WW Box Office for the 4-day Opening weekend..”
