Suriya’s ‘Kanguva’ Aims For A MASSIVE Opening Collection With 10,000 Screens Worldwide!

Suriya’s much-anticipated film Kanguva is gearing up for a spectacular release like never before that promises to captivate audiences everywhere. The film’s intriguing storyline revolves around Kanguva, a brave leader from a medieval tribe, whose fierce battle to protect his people is mysteriously linked to a modern-day shadow cop’s dangerous journey. This unique blend of past and present aims to create an unforgettable cinematic experience.

Scheduled for release on November 14, 2024, Kanguva is not just a Tamil movie; it’s a pan-Indian and global release, featuring languages like English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese and various Indian languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. This extensive language reach will ensure a massive presence in theaters worldwide. As confirmed by producer G Dhananjayan at a recent event, the film will premiere on approximately 10,000 screens across the globe.

In Tamil Nadu alone, around 700 screens are set to showcase Suriya’s Kanguva. The total screen count for the entire South Indian region has already surpassed 2500. The film is expected to have between 3000 and 3500 screens in the northern states of India. The producer has expressed optimism that the international market will feature over 4000 screens, bringing the total to an impressive 10,000 screens. If these numbers hold true, Kanguva will achieve the largest theatrical release in Tamil film history, aiming for a staggering opening collection of 150 crores on its release day.

Directed by Siva and produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, Kanguva features Suriya in dual roles, alongside a talented cast that includes Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Yogi Babu, and more.
