Social media has been buzzing with messages from people worried about his health. Thankfully, his wife, Latha Rajinikanth has now shared an update that has brought relief to many.
According to the sources of CNN-News18, Latha Rajinikanth said, “All is well”. This simple message reassured fans who had been anxiously waiting for news about Rajinikanth’s condition.
Before Latha’s update, there were reports that Superstar Rajinikanth had been taken to Apollo Hospital in Chennai late on Monday night. Hospital sources confirmed that the 73-year-old actor was stable and that he had a heart procedure scheduled for Tuesday. This procedure was planned in advance and was not an emergency but the news still worried many of his supporters.
As soon as the news of his hospitalization broke, fans took to social media to express their concerns. One fan wrote, “I think Thalaivar is getting stressed before his movie releases. This is the third time it’s happened. Health is more important than movies”. Another fan added, “Oh my, I hope everything is okay now”.
Rajinikanth’s health has been a topic of concern for his fans before. He had a kidney transplant a decade ago and recently decided not to enter politics due to health issues.
Just before his hospitalization, Rajinikanth made headlines when he attended the audio launch of his upcoming film Vettaiyan. Fans were thrilled to see him dance and entertain the crowd. The film directed by TJ Gnanavel is set to release on October 10, 2024 and meanwhile, the trailer is set to be out tomorrow on October 2.
Vettaiyan is Rajinikanth’s first movie with director TJ Gnanavel and it stars big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati. With music by Anirudh Ravichander, it is expected to be a huge hit.
