Rajinikanth talks about his friendship with Amitabh Bachchan & how he looks upto him

Rajinikanth during the trailer launch of his upcoming film Darbar seemed to be in the most candid mood. He opened up about his friendship with Amitabh Bachchan and also spoke about the three advice he received for him.

Superstar Rajinikanth who was recently in Mumbai for the trailer launch of his much-awaited film, Darbar, got candid like never before. Apart from the female lead, Nayanthara, the entire cast and crew including Suniel Shetty, director AR Murugadoss and the others were seen attending the event. Rajinikanth who was seen in the best of moods spoke his heart out about his friendship with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and also spoke about the three advice he received from Big B. 

Rajinikanth at  Darbar trailer launch said, “Not only in front of the camera, I look up to how Amitabh Bachchan is off-camera also. There are many moments that define our friendship. He loves me. We were once in Tamil Nadu, and he told me that after 60 we must be very careful. These are the three things to remember: 1. Exercise every day. 2. Be busy every day and get out of your house every day. 3. Don’t enter politics. I have learned all this from Amitji, but I couldn’t follow his third advice because of the circumstances.” It would be super interesting to see the two superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth in one frame.

Talking about Darbar, apart from Rajnikanth and Nayanthara, the film also features Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Dilip Tahil, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu among others. Rajnikanth will be seen essaying the role of a supercop again after two decades, while the film is set in the backdrop of Mumbai. Helmed by AR Murugadoss and bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Darbar is set to hit theatres by Pongal 2020.
