Within 11 days of its release, the film has earned magnificent numbers at the box office and has now gone past the 350crore mark with its worldwide collection. Roaring at the box office, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus has now emerged as another biggest blockbuster of the year. The film is now expected to end up with a lifetime collection of 500cr. Ponniyin Selvan Box Office Collection Day 12

Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus has now completed two whole weeks at the theatres and has now emerged as one of the highest-grossing films in Tamil Nadu. The multi-starrer film opened up to great numbers at the box office on its opening day. On Day 1, PS 1 earned Rs 78 crore globally. On the second day, the film crossed Rs 150 crore earning worldwide. On the first weekend, PS 1 reached a collection of Rs 230 crores.

The film later grossed a total of 20crores on Monday, while as per the latest trade reports it is now believed that the film is now inching closer to cross the 450 crore mark with its worldwide collection. According to Sacnilk trade reports, Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus earned Rs 4 crore on Day 12 in India, the film now stands on a total domestic collection of 224.50crores. Meanwhile, the film is expected to enter the 450crore club with its worldwide collections.
