Ponniyin Selvan 1– Ahead of the much-awaited teaser release of Mani Ratnam’s Film PS-1, South actor Chiyaan Vikram has been taken to Kauvery hospital in Chennai soon after he complained of having discomfort due to a high fever, meanwhile his publicist has denied all the rumors about him having a heart attack and said that he’s alright and will soon get back to work.
PS-1 Actor Chiyaan Vikram Admitted To A Hospital In Chennai
Ponniyin Selvan actor Chiyaan Vikram on Friday was taken to the hospital just hours ahead of the teaser launch event of his film Ponniyin Selvan:I. Addressing the rumors and reports his publicist has recently confirmed that the actor was taken to hospital soon after he complained of discomfort due to high fever symptoms. He is admitted to Chennai’s Kauvery hospital.
On the other hand, responding to some reports that claimed that Chiyaan Vikram suffered a heart attack and was therefore admitted to the hospital, his publicist said it was a high fever and the actor is doing fine. Dismissing the rumors he added that Vikram, who currently awaits the release of his upcoming film Cobra, will be discharged soon.
Vikram will be seen essaying the role of Aditya Karikalan in Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan-1’. The makers of the film earlier revealed his look on social media which was much appreciated and loved by the netizens. Meanwhile, the teaser of the film is set to premiere on Friday at 6 pm. Meanwhile, Vikram was supposed to take part in the teaser launch of Ponniyin Selvan: Part 1 that is set to happen today evening in Chennai. However, seems to be no change in the schedule of the event. Ponniyin Selvan features an ensemble star cast including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, and Sarath Kumar.
On the work front, Vikram has Ajay Gnanamuthu’s long-delayed Cobra and Mani Ratnam’s epic Ponniyin Selvan in his kitty. While Cobra hits the screens on August 11, Ponniyin Selvan will release on September 30. He was recently seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s directorial Mahaan.
