The ongoing dispute between Nayanthara, Dhanush over a No Objection Certificate (NOC) related to their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan has sparked considerable buzz. Nayanthara recently accused Dhanush of denying her permission to use visuals from the film in her Netflix documentary Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale. She alleged that his refusal stemmed from personal differences rather than professional reasons, leaving her frustrated.

On Wednesday, Dhanush took to social media and dropped two posts, sparking conversations online. In his first post, he shared a new poster for his upcoming movie Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK). He also announced the title of the film’s second song: Kadhal Fail. His caption read, “#Neek second single is a Gen-z soup song kadhal fail.” The first song from the film, Golden Sparrow, was released earlier this year.
In the second post, shared a few hours later, Dhanush uploaded a photo of his hand holding a tennis racket, expressing gratitude to Rafael Nadal. He captioned it, “Thank you RAFA … Tennis won’t be the same without you @rafaelnadal.”
Dhanush’s posts were flooded with comments applauding his subtle way of handling the controversy. Nayanthara alleged that Dhanush’s refusal disrupted her documentary plans, calling it a display of “double standards.” Meanwhile, Dhanush’s father, Kasthuri Raja, defended his son, stating that the focus is solely on work and that the allegations were untrue.
