Google has released its list of some of the most searched South Indian Asian actors in 2022. And without any surprise, major big names of the South cinema have risen to the top of the charts. Out of 75 members, a total of 16 actors from the South Indian film industry are a part of the South Industry. From Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kajal Aggarwal, to Allu Arjun and more, here are the top 5 celebrities who successfully acquired their spots on the most searched Asians list-
- Kajal Aggarwal
Without any surprise, Telugu cinema actress Kajal has topped the list of all South actors as she secured the 15th spot in the list leaving behind Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan at the 16th spot. The South actress recently grabbed the news after she welcomed her son Neil into her family this year in April. Meanwhile, on the professional front, was recently seen in the Telugu action drama Acharya alongside Ram Charan and Chiranjeevi.
2. Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Following Kajal on the list is the Family Man actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu who secured the 18th spot for herself on the list. The South actress has shown her talent in almost every industry now. However, her popularity skyrocketed like never before after appearing in the item number ‘Oo Antava’ from Pushpa: The Rise. As per the reports, the actress will soon be making her Bollywood debut as well.
3. Allu Arjun
On the third spot in the list is no one other than Pushpa actor Allu Arjun himself. The actor has garnered an immense fan following after his film ‘Pushpa’. He is also one of the highest-paid actors in the South industry. Soon after receiving mammoth success at the box office with his film Pushpa, the actor has now hiked his fee to almost the double amount for the sequel.
4. Rashmika Mandanna
After Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna grabbed the fourth spot in the list, the actress is also Allu Arjun’s co-star as the duo played the leads in Pushpa: The Rise. Meanwhile, the actress is now more than ready to make her debut in the Bollywood industry with multiple projects in her kitty this year including ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor, ‘Mission Majnu’ with Sidharth Malhotra, and more.
5. Vijay
South actor Vijay secured the fifth spot acquiring 22nd place in the list. Vijay Chandrasekhar, also known as Thalapathy Vijay, was the fifth most searched actor from the South. The actor’s popularity reflects in the huge sum of money he charges per film – Rs 20 crore.
Following in the list remains the Tamannaah Bhatia, ‘Jawan‘ actress Nayanthara, KGF actor Yash who secured himself the 40th position, after which comes Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali actress Pooja Hedge, Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Dhanush, Keerthy Suresh, Suriya, Prabhas and Rajinikanth among others.
