Samantha Ruth Prabhu On Acceptance And Letting Go Post Split With Husband Naga

The actress took to her social media handle to share a cryptic story captioning it ‘Acceptance’

As Marilyn Bergman once rightly said, “Nothing lasts forever…forever’s a lie. All we have is what’s between hello and goodbye” who would have thought these lines would fit aptly to Samatha and Chaitanya Naga’s beautiful journey. The two decided to part their ways as a Man and wife and officially got divorced in October this year, leaving many fans in a state of dejection and shock. After a decade-long friendship, 8 years of dating, and 4 years of marriage, the decision to split came due to irreconcilable differences.

The actress shared a post on Instagram “To all our well-wishers. After much deliberation and thought Sam and I have decided to part ways as husband and wife to pursue our own paths. We are fortunate to have a friendship of over a decade that was the very core of our relationship which we believe will always hold a special bond between us. We request our fans, well-wishers, and the media to support us during this difficult time and give us the privacy we need to move on. Thanking you for your support.”

Since then the Family Man 2 actress has been sharing positive quotes and phrases as posts and stories on her Instagram handle. Her recent Instagram story created quite a buzz when she shared a Cheryl Strayed Quote that said “Most things will be okay, but not everything will be. Sometimes you will put up a good fight and lose. Sometimes you’ll hold on really hard and realize there is no choice but to let go. Acceptance is a small, quiet room.”

Amid the upsetting news of divorce, many baseless rumors made rounds on the internet. From abortion to alimony and even extramarital affairs, many had their own stories that according to them fueled the divorce. Addressing the same, Samantha broke her silence and cleared, “They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist, and now that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process”

Recently Samatha graced the cover of Elle India, pictures of the same were shared on the actress’s Instagram handle. The actress is currently awaiting releases of her upcoming films “Pushpa” and “Shaakuntalam”.
